More Updates

Pettan-ko
  • Seto no Hanayome chapter 21 almost done. (Seriously)
  • Musunde Hiraite Chapter 4 being cleaned by Jetine, translated by Kohta.
  • Seitokai no Ichizon Chapter 8 will be translated and typesetted by me after Seto no Hanayome. Cleaned by Sukone.

Musunde is now active. I'm still working on Seto no Hanayome ;_; Seitokai was proposed by Sukone, and I've taken a liking to it, so it will be our next project despite not putting it on our "Planned" list first.

Felt like putting up what is going on since the last post lacked substance other than me sucking up to everyone. We are still slow and small, but at least we are working. I remember how many fledgling scanlation groups I saw when I browsed forums for new recruits that I never heard from again. And so, progress.

Cheers to our supporters for being patient, and our cleaners, Jetine and Sukone, who are just too amazing at cleaning.

Why is Inaba so lazy?

Slow Going

Why is Inaba such a shitty translator?
Hello all. It has been a slow going process for our group. May I just say that we are not a dead group. It has been a difficult experience for me, as being practically the sole translator of the group. Real life happens, laziness happens, whatever stuff happens to me delays the group immensely, and I would like to apologize to both the manga-readers that we promised that their manga would be translated for taking too damn long, as well as my own team for delaying this project despite them having their jobs done. We'll get Seto no Hanayome done soon, and start on a new manga. I swear that on my "chivalrous spirit."

First Active Projects (This time for sure!)

Today, I am finally announcing our two current projects that we are working on: Seto no Hanayome volumes 5 - 8 and Musunde Hiraite by Minase Mayu.

Musunde Hiraite used to be translated by Kumquat Scans, who seems to have dropped scanlating in its entirety (Their last update was the third chapter of Musunde, but that was since last July). Seto no Hanayome is actually still being done by FoOlzRulez, but refuse to upload on MangaFox any more. So, to allow the MangaFox community to read this amazing manga with no breaks, we will upload our chapters only there, and maybe any other site FoOlzRulez will not upload in. For more details on why they won't upload on MangaFox, please visit their site. For more details on the projects, please visit our projects page.

Note that we are not speaking in behalf of either of these groups, it is just me analysing the situation as it is. If anyone has any information on the status of either of these manga, or if the scanlation group has an issue with our work. please leave a comment or contact me at inaba.yumeto@gmail.com.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As usual, we are accepting anyone for any position of all skill levels. Refer to Kohta's post for more details.

Yumeto Logo Winner

The contest was supposed to go on for a final week, but faced with a lack of designs and time, I have had to cut it short.

And so, the winner of the logo "contest" is none other than no.1!!!
Kudryavka Noumi, Kud Wafter, and related are the sole property of Key Visual Arts.
This design was created using the font Wet Dream by David Kerkoff.

Well, that takes care of that then.  Sorry if the one you liked best wasn't the winner, but that's just how democracy works.
Oh, and meet Kud, Yumeto's mascot.

Thanks for participating,
Kohta

Yumeto Scans Start Up

We are a new manga translating group that wants to pick up dropped and incomplete manga works.

Translators and Others Wanted
We are recruiting for all positions (Translator, Cleaner, Typesetter, QCer), but we need a translator to start working.  The positions are anything but exclusive, so new members are welcome.  In fact, most of us here are fairly green, so if you are too and are looking for a group that won't overwhelm you, that would be us.

Planned Projects

We have a few projects in mind.  .hack//GnU seems to be the most likely candidate. Here is a wiki link to it in case you haven't heard of it or want to learn more: .hack//GnU wiki

Beyond that, we plan to pick up dropped manga that other scanlators will not finish and the various doujinshi floating around the internet untranslated.

If you are interested in joining the Yumeto project, have any questions or otherwise please send an e-mail to me at inaba.yumeto@gmail.com or Kohta (kohta.yumeto@gmail.com).
